EQ doesn't change the length — the output is the same duration as the input. It does render a new audio file, since the filtering has to be baked in, so exporting to WAV keeps it lossless while MP3 or Opus re-encode at your chosen bitrate. Stereo is preserved: each channel is filtered independently, so the stereo image stays intact.
